Our Vision
United Way understands that people really want to make a difference in their community. We are focused on bottom-line results: the lives we change and the communities we shape.
Our experience tells us that the best way to help the most people is to target our community’s most serious problems – and then focus on the underlying causes of those problems. It takes the whole community, working together, to pull it off.
So we bring people from all across the community partnering together, people from government, business, non-profits and community citizens, to tackle the issues that matter most. If it requires fundraising and getting people to work together, that’s what we do. |
