A BIG thanks to ALL of our contributing companies and the thousands of employees who made a contribution this year, helping us to surpass our $2.6 million dollar goal! When we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all.... that's what it means to LIVE UNITED!
The 2009/2010 Campaign has been a great success! Our local community has really stepped up to the plate and answered the call to action. In September, our Campaign Chair, John Annis, challenged all of Manatee County to LIVE UNITED this year. "When we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. Together, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow," Annis stated.
United Way of Manatee County is so grateful to all of it's supporters. This year, Publix Supermarkets, Tropicana Products/Pepsico, Manatee County Government and the School Board of Manatee County increased their contributions. These companies, and so many more, are leading the way to success for this year's campaign.
