United Way Foundation of Manatee County
The United Way Foundation of Manatee County was established on February 12, 1998, to provide a vehicle for contributors to United Way to satisfy current major giving, as well as planned and deferred giving needs. Gifts to the Foundation remain in perpetuity with the objective of generating sufficient earnings to offset United Way’s operating expenses. This will enable more of the revenue generated by annual fund raising campaigns to be applied directly to human care programs and services.
Thanks to the generosity of PepsiCo, which matches the Tropicana Employees’ Annual Campaign Pledges, and many other generous individuals, the Foundation’s corpus has grown to more then $2,200,000.
